Using Design To Elevate the flagship products for Tiger Corporation
Tiger Corporation U.S.A. is a division of Tiger Corporation based in Osaka, Japan founded in 1923. Offering new everyday essentials for the dining experience with ideas that produce warmth. As the company grows globally, they’ve established several sales bases in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and the U.S.A.
After a lengthy conversation with the U.S. Tiger Corporation President, Kentaro Matsumoto, he informed me of how hugely successful the Tiger Corporation was in Japan. Most all Japanese households, possesses at least one Tiger product. Working directly with Mr. Matsumoto-san to expand brand awareness, we targeted the American market by rebranding packaging and aligning the goals of the Tiger Corp. to the needs of their customers.

Understanding how huge the Tiger Corporation was in Japan, the brief was pretty straight forward. “Can you help the Tiger Corporation rise from the ashes here in the states. Our new product has the appearance of stainless steel and we would like our product to imitate the Porsche. Is it possible to making these new products mimic Porsche?”
