Sharper Image Quattro 4 CD Changer Package Design

Sharper Image is an American brand that offers consumers home electronics and high-tech lifestyle products through its website, catalog, and third-party retailers.

The Quattro 4 CD changer is a more affordable alternative to the Bang and Olufsen Beosound 9000. It comes with a universal iPod dock and dual vertical 4-speaker columns which stand tall at 4 feet. Modern linear CD player features four CD drives plus 40-track programming; it displays vertically on its stand, horizontally on a shelf or mounted to a wall.

CHALLENGE

Creating a dynamic appearance of a plastic product. Even more challenging was shooting a vertifcal tower on a short and stubby horizontal package.

OUTCOME

We were successful identifying an approach that defined characteristics such as fonts, aptly stylized panel photography and a bold color selection.
